Flywheels for trucks

The flywheel of an engine ensures a more even running of the engine. The pistons of an engine move around the crankshaft as it were, which would give a jerky course. The flywheel is mounted on the crankshaft flange. On the flywheel is the clutch with the gearbox over it. The starter motor drives the engine by means of the teeth of the flywheel.
